Your private journey begins right from ZVARTNOTS International Airport, Yerevan, where your personal guide and driver meet you and take you to your first trip to your hotel on the magnificent mountain, a four-peaked volcano massive Aragatz. Fantastic views all along the road. Especially lucky if the weather is clear and Ararat mountain is visible.

You'll check in to the hotel, visit Amberd fortress, then drive to Lake Qari on the altitude of 3090 metres above sea level. Then, late in the evening after dinner, you'll visit Byurakan Observatory for stargazing with the real telescopes.

On the second day of your trip you'll visit the impressive Dashtadem fortress and then continue your journey through Shirak region to Gyumri, with an interesting stop for lunch. You'll have dinner and will stay overnight in Gyumr, the city of wit and champions.

The next day will guide you through the history of Gyumri and beautiful old streets and then you'll head for Lori, one of the most picturesque regions of Armenia, also known for its significant historical monuments. You'll visit famous Akhtala fortress and UNESCO heritage monastic complex of Haghpat. You'll stay overnight in Haghpat.

You'll continue to discover the treasures of Lori and enjoy grandiose landscape and rich history of the region and continue your way to Tavush region and stay overnight in Dilijan, a SPA town.

On your 6th day, we will lead you to Lake Sevan with stops to have the best views of the lake and visit historical monuments. You will also visit Noratus, a unique place with about 900 khachqars. Then you'll travel the legendary Silk Road through splendid Vardenyats Pass on 2410 metres above sea level and will stop at the medieval Caravanserai. In the evening you'll arrive at Yeghegis and stay there overnight.

On day 7 you'll visit Noravank and the magnificent Gnishik Gorge, discover Areni, the wine region of Armenia, visit the famous Areni1 cave, the 6000-year-old winery, and of course will taste some of the best wine in the world. Then you'll travel to Syunik province to visit Hin Khndzorek, a cave village and pass the swinging iron bridge. You'll stay in Goris overnight.

On day 8, is the day to fly on the wings of Tatev, the longest reversible aerial tramway and visit splendid Tatev monastery. On that very day, after lunch, you'll visit a prehistoric observatory of Qarahunj, one of the oldest such constructions in the world. Then you'll travel to Sisian to stay overnight.

You'll have an off-road trip to another prehistoric monument- petroglyphs of Ukhtasar. They are situated at the altitude of about 3200 metres above sea level. Sometimes this site may be inaccessible due to weather conditions and high altitude. You'll be back to Sisian for lunch and continue your way to Yerevan. You'll stay in Yerevan all following nights until the day of your departure.

On day 10 you will be welcomed in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. You'll have a city-tour with Erebuni fortress, the birthplace of Yerevan (8th century BC), museums and famous sites of the city.

You'll visit Zvartnots, 7th-century temple, Holy Ejmiatzin and another fantastic archaeological site and museum with civilizational significance, Metzamor. When back in Yerevan you'll have a chance to visit the genocide memorial of Tzitzernakaberd.

You'll visit Garni, a famous pagan temple of the Sun. Then you'll continue to rock-carved Geghard, will have lunch and then you'll be back to Yerevan visiting the Mother Armenia monument with the city view. You'll have some time to freshen up and will go to have dinner.

Visit The Matenadaran, the biggest repository of ancient manuscripts. Then you'll walk to Ponchikantots, a very nice cafe with nostalgic childhood atmosphere to eat some special doughnuts and drink some hot chocolate! Then you'll visit an old bookstore, food market and after some time, in the evening you'll visit legendary Ararat Cognac museum with degustation. After that, you'll visit Megeryan Carpet to have farewell dinner in the most authentic atmosphere of Armenian rugs.
