Private Beijing Great Wall and Summer Palace Tour

Instead of cramming into a crowded tour bus and sticking to a rigid tour schedule, explore Beijing’s Summer Palace and the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall at your own pace on this private tour of these two historic landmarks.

Take your time marvelling at the views atop Mutianyu, then stroll around the Summer Palace’s massive imperial gardens – so remarkable that they’re listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The journey will begin at 8:00 am. Our friendly English-speaking Guide and air-conditioned car with a professional driver will pick you up from the hotel.  After about 90 mins of driving, the Guide will show you around Beijing, local culture, custom, language, and history. Once you reach the destination, you can get off the vehicle, take a break to freshen-up in the washroom.

You will pass by a shopping street about 300 meters. If we walk directly, 3 mins are sufficient enough, and you can get on the shuttle bus. 5 mins driving to the foot of the mountain. If you wish to have lunch in the Subway restaurant, we will skip the shuttle bus. Instead of the shuttle, you can take our own vehicle to the foot of the mountain.

Next will be cable car up or chairlift up. A round trip cable car is 120 YUAN each. Whereas, chairlift and toboggan are 120 YUAN each. We have scheduled 2hours staying on the Wall. By this time, it will be already afternoon, so we have included LUNCH for you.

After lunch, you can take a drive to the Summer Palace. Here, you will pass by small villages of Beijing, see plenty of fruit trees, and fishing lake. Enjoy your Stay in the Summer Palace for 90 mins. The Summer Palace has the biggest imperial garden in the world, 4 times bigger than the Forbidden City.

In the end, we will drive back to the hotel safely. You can finish this wonderful journey at around 5:00 pm.
