Overview

Our local guide will pick you up from your downtown hotel at 9:00 am, board a private air-conditioned vehicle to start the journey.

You will firstly visit the Daming Palace Site of Tang Dynasty with super-large scale and magnificent buildings, this was the main royal palace in Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) where Tang emperors lived and dealt with state affairs. The whole layout was composed of two areas, Qian Chao where emperors held court, and Nei Ting used for living and recreation.

Then head to Qujiang Tourist Area and visit the solemn ancient Big Wild Goose Pagoda inside the Da Ci’en Temple. The pagoda was originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty and it holds the old Buddhist relics and classics taken from India, and the Da Ci’en (mercy and kindness) Temple is one of renowned Buddhist temples in China.

Continue to explore Tang Paradise, which not only claims to be the biggest cultural theme park in the northwest region of China but also the first royal-garden-like park to give a full display of the Tang Dynasty's (618-907) culture. To have a better experience of Tang Dynasty trip, the traditional Dumplings Dinner and Tang Dynasty Dance Show at Tang Dynasty Palace have been arranged for you in the evening. Here you will enjoy the tasty dumplings and fascinating dance show.

One of the things one must do when visiting China is to go to this show or similar. Well presented, great lighting,very colorful and comfortable seats.. Chinese food incredible as usual.. Tour guides very good love China.. NEEDS MORE THAN 5 STARS..!!!!

Optional excursions with our tour. It was good. Glad our guide explained beforehand what it was about so we could follow along. Food was delicious. The place was full and happy :))

Educational day and varied. Guide was good and spoke good english. would recommend. only disappointment were dumplings at dinner - very stodgy and oily.

A must watch performance if you are in love with dance and art, as it is combine beautiful ballet, traditional dance! Nice food!

A brilliantly varied tour which covers so many of the highlights of Xian. The highlight for us was definitely the dumpling dinner and show - highly entertaining. Definitely recommend

Took in the show after dinner and was amazed. The show is a historical dance through the Tang Dynasty. The costumes are beautiful and the dancers wonderful. It only lasts about an hour, but it is a wonderful way to spend part of an evening in Xi’an.

Tour was a little long - lots of walking! The dumpling dinner was ok but not amazing, we appreciated the rest while watching the show as we were exhausted. If we have the opportunity to go again we would just opt for the dinner and show.

We booked the Tang Dynasty Show and Dumpling Banquet through our guide, who recommended it. The restaurant was very busy with a lively atmosphere, the food was plentiful and the dumplings containing various fillings were delicious. After the meal we were shown to our seats which all had tables so we could have a drink whilst we watched the show, which itself was really colourful and entertaining. The dancers put a great deal of effort into it.

The show is something worth watching. I usually like to watch a cultural show when I’m visiting and also love to eat the food. It was all in one here enjoyed it!
