Overview

Start the comprehensive day tour of Xi’an in the morning, the tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at around 8:30-9:00 am.

It takes approx. 1 hour driving to the Banpo Neolithic Village. Banpo Museum was built at the base of the excavations of the Banpo site which is a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao culture dating back about 6,000 years.

You will see how the resident matriarchic tribe used to survive in the Neolithic age Continue the sightseeing to explore the Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum and Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, which are the highlights of Xi’an.

These terracotta warriors and horses are the size of a real army, and were buried alongside the Emperor - Qinshihuang in a vast underground palace.

Follow the tour guide to explore this most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, see 7,000 life-sized figures in ordered rows and learn the history of Xi’an. On the way back to downtown, visit the Terracotta Replication Factory and get to know how to re-made terracotta soldiers.

Then enjoy a comfortable and relaxing transfer back to your hotel to conclude the Xi’an highlights tour.

An amazing trip. It was much more than we imagined and that was thanks to our guide, who really knew his job and made it the most memorable part of our China trip . He even suggested the Tang Dynasty show which we also booked and enjoyed. A great tour company to book with.

Warriors were amazing and the village really well explains the life of these early hunter gatherers. The pottery designs are remarkable and overall this was a good tour.

A GREAT DAY! A visit to the Banpo village was part of this Terracotta day tour and the museum boasts of great collection of artefacts from the Ming dyansty. Really loved browsing through it and really loved this tour.

Definitely worth a visit. This tour was really well put together and it is truly amazing to think the things we were seeing dated back 6000 years ago. You get a good sense of their lives and how advanced they really were at the village. The Terracotta Army is also a sight to see and to think that no two faces are the same. A great tour and I highly recommend.

The Terra-cotta Army I had know about before travelling though I had no idea what to expect when we arrived at the Neolithic Village. The gardens outside are beautiful and inside the museum you actually see the site dig. This was definitely a learning experience which I recommend.

On this tour we saw the amazing Terracotta Warrior Museum, Banpo Site Museum and village. Lunch was also included and I feel that the tour was great value for money.

It was awesome to see the excavations of a 6000 year old Neolithic village and reconstructed dwelling. I thought the Terracotta Army would be the best part of our day, but I loved the village. Highly recommend.
