2 Delhi City Tour

After breakfast tour of Old & New Delhi visit Red Fort, enjoy the rickshaw ride from Red Fort to Jama Masjid via Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi streets. Later visit Jama Masjid, Humayun Tomb, India Gate & drive past Parliament house, President house and visit Qutub Minar. Overnight at hotel.

3 Delhi – Agra drive (205 Km) using expressway

After breakfast drive to Agra, on arrival at Agra, check into hotel for 01 night stay. Afternoon visit Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb (Baby Taj).

4 Agra - Jaipur drive (240 Km) via & Abhaneri

Early morning visit Taj by sunrise. Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - the most extravagant monument ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Back to hotel for breakfast and drive to Jaipur via Abhaneri (95 Km from Jaipur): The small village of Abhaneri has one of India's deepest and largest step wells (also known as tank gardens). Step wells are unique to India. They were used as cool places of resort, as pools for ritual cleansing before a temple visit and as a water supply for dry weather. There is a temple adjoining the step well. Later continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival our company representative would assist you to check in hotel for 02 nights stay.

5 Jaipur City Tour

After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by Elephant ride (optional, direct payment) to the fort. Stop for photography at Jal Mahal, Palace of Winds better known as Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar (Observatory). Later walled city tour by walk. Start point : from City Palace via Tripolia Gate (Entrance gate of Royal Family), covering the beautiful Jaipur city centre with daily routine colourful life and vibrating pink city, old Bazaars from spices to the exquisite Jaipur savior, visit Bangles street from the smell of tea spices with flower Incenses street. Ending at Ramchandra ji temple with beautiful city view. Optional: Evening dinner with cooking demo with Indian Family (Complimentary)

6 Jaipur – Pushkar drive (142 Km).

8 Udaipur City Tour

After breakfast visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal and Jagdish temple. And enjoy the boat ride (optional, direct payment) on Lake Pichola.

9 Udaipur - Jodhpur drive (280 Km) via Ranakpur.

Morning breakfast at hotel and later drive to Jodhpur, en route you will visit Ranakpur Jain Templs (98 Km from Udaipur): Ranakpur is widely known for its marble Jain temple, and for a much older Sun Temple which lies opposite the former. The dating of this temple is controversial but it is largely considered to be anywhere between the late 14th to mid-15th centuries. Later continue drive to Jodhpur, upon arrival transfer to hotel for 01 night stay.

31 day unique Indian tour Dec-Jan `08 It is fair to say that there may well be many other holday companies from within the UK and elsewhere that would have undertook to arrange the above vacation.However we are hugely convinced that there is nowhere to be found, a team to compare with the group at Colourful Indian Holidays. Working with Narendra we compiled a tour that included- Delhi-Jaipur-Agra Kerala Express Kerala houseboat-hillstation Goa Express Goa-beach retreat Goa-Delhi int. flight We are so glad that we took that leap of faith when we made contact with Narendra through the website last year.Assurances were given and together we finalised the above itinenary to include: representatives at every step of the way all hotels personal chauffeur/air con taxi personal tour guides train travel arrangements (dont go without it!) houseboat Xmas eve/day internal flight s. Goa relaxation beach resort personal meeting with Narendra in Jaipur where we thanked him for his expert advice and gentle guidance surrounding the above. To whom it may concern In August 2007, I independently booked a flight to India with no idea of where to go, where to stay and obviously at such short notice I was on a very restricted budget! I was introduced to many Tour agents! By process of elimination I arrived at the full disposal of Colourful Indian Tours, a very pleasant & colorful adventure it was indeed. I did experience a few disappointments but nothing that Narendra could not sort out. The tour guides and drivers were exceptional, their willingness to please and satisfy was most welcoming. Without a doubt I will engage in the services of Colourful Indian Tours again. I took with me the following, the need to help rather than be helped, the need to please rather than be pleased and most importantly make someone else’s day for someone is sure to make yours. Thank you Narendra and your team for the efficient manner in which you handled my holiday! It was well worth it!

We have done a South India Tour four years ago and were keen to do acomparative tour in North West India. So we booked a Rajasthan Tour at Package India Tours.After an obliging and helpful booking of the 14 day tour we started our journey. The tour was exiting we had gorgeous heritages and 5 Star hotels the driver drove with caution and the local guides were well informed. Each individual wishes were fulfilled and we felt very comfortable at any times. Thanks for the 14 colourful days in India.

We were planning to organize our travels through a reputable agent to ensure we would experience the most carefree and enjoyable trip possible. We contacted Colourful Indian Holidays to organize our trip around Delhi and Agra. Colorful India met and even exceed all out expectations. The driver was prompt at the airport to meet us and take us to our hotel. The hotels we stayed both in Delhi and Agra were magnificent and our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver Mr. Raju was very helpful and always makes sure we were comfortable and pleased with the service. Also Mr. Poonia was in contact throughout our journey to ensure we were well and pleased with the service. Our trip was a memorable one as they promise and will definitely use them in the future. We recommend Colourful India for anyone who plans to visit India and I’m sure that they wont be disappointed Once again I want to thank Mr. Narendra Poonia to arrange our memorable trip.

We went on this trip in October last year and although I rarely write reviews and this is a little late, I feel absolutely compelled to do so this time to show our appreciation of the exceptional standard of service we experienced during our trip to Rajasthan, all organised by Narendra Poonia. From the very first contact with Narendra he could not have been more helpful. He gave advice on our route and hotels and also if he thought we were doing too much or too little. We flew for our 2 week trip from Australia to Mumbai, then Udaipur, then drove with a driver (called Prahlad Singh) all the way to Chanoud Garh, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra and finally Delhi. We did a separate trip by plane to Varanasi. Prahlad, our main driver was so very helpful, happy and willing and made sure we always had water and various biscuits and sweets in the car. We had two others in Mumbai and Delhi and they were equally courteous, engaging and so helpful, (as in helping us find some alcohol in Varanasi and finding a hairdresser on the way to the airport!). Munir in Mumbai was always charming, smiling, opening doors for us and even giving us good commentary in English! They always made us aware that they were available for us in the evenings as well if we needed a ride to any restaurant. All the guides and drivers, without exception, were excellent and did not push us at all to do anything we did not feel like doing. If we changed our minds about places we were supposed to go to, it was never a problem and they were always happy to oblige. The cars too were very comfortable and fairly new. From the moment we stepped onto Indian soil, Narendra arranged everything. Transfers, hotels, flights, guides and drivers. There was not one hitch and we never had to wait for anyone. On top of all this, Narendra was always available to talk to (we used whatsapp) – and even came to meet us in Jaipur and took us out for dinner. Wow!! We were upgraded twice in the Oberoi hotels to sumptuous suites and at the Imperial hotel in Delhi, Narendra not only had us upgraded for my Birthday but made sure I had a beautiful chocolate cake as well!! Lastly, we did go to some fairly obscure places and Narendra even advanced us some cash when necessary when we could not find ATMs or other means of getting money! I later transferred him the money. This surely is above and beyond any expectations! So, finally, I would highly recommend. They were very professional and flawless. Also having them there on hand in India, 24/7 was a huge bonus. Well done Narendra!

Dear Fellow Travelers: I am writing this note to tell you about my wonderful experiences in India while using the services of Colorful In India. I found Colorful In India to provide not only a great service but at the same time found them to be very reputable and honest. Here’s my story: I am an independent traveler. I do not do the group tours or get on the tour buses. When I first contacted Narenda at Colorful In India I assumed that when I told him I was a solo traveler he would simply send a note saying sorry they couldn’t help me. I was surprise to find out that they were willing to develop my own private tour with guides and drivers in several cities. I was able to choose the places I wanted to visit and they also took me to other sites that I hadn’t heard of or read about and would have never found on my own. I had days with a driver and guide and I had days when I was off on my own, by my own choosing. They were very flexible and were willing to work with whatever schedule I choose. All of the cars were newer models with air-conditioning and all of the guides were friendly and knowledgeable as well as speaking perfect English. There was one day where the local representative thought I had only hired a driver and as a result a trainee guide accompanied me. I mentioned this to Narenda and he immediately contacted the local representative and expressed his apologizes. That same day I was reimbursed for that days cost. I was quite surprised to see that they took immediate action to correct the problem. Colorful In India aims to please and they sure did in my case. They go above and beyond to make your journey a pleasant experience. I would urge anyone, whether you are an independent solo traveler, a family or a group to use Colorful In India

Thank you Narenda for putting together a very enjoyable tour for us. The tour guides and local agents in each area met us promptly and our driver was wonderful. Our driver acted as a tour guide himself answering our questions and showing us interesting things along the way. I cannot recommend him highly enough The hotels we stayed in varied in quality but this was largely to do with our budget constraints. I loved our Heritage Hotel in Agra and want to thank Narenda for finding this one for us. It was a beautiful hotel I wouldnt recommend the Raj Palace in Ranthambore to other guests and would not recommend a full day safari there as this was far too long (and we spent an uncomfortable 3 hours lying on make-shift beds in the middle of the reserve without a toilet while we waited for our afternoon safari). The tour was good value and though the driving we tried to achieve was perhaps a little too much for a 5 day tour the company worked so hard to ensure we could do everything we wanted. We met 3-4 tour guides on our way and only one did not meet our expectations. The others were really informative and so friendly. I really enjoyed all the places we saw on our route and thank Package India very much for all their work in planning this. Narenda was so patient with all my changes and requests and treats his customers very well.

I have recently returned from a trip to India where a part of my trip was orchestrated by Narendra Poonia. This was my second trip to India the first i did as a teacher and traveler on my own. I had planned to do the same this time but to accommodate a friend we coordinated a tour of Rajasthan and through online searching I found Colourful Indian Holidays and began to negotiate with them about creating a trip for 2 people that would include the highlights of that region. My friend and I were amazed by the generous nature of Narendra from the beginning he was willing to help us in ways that far exceeded any expectations I may have dreamed of having. He helped us to set up the perfect excursion which was no small task as we were coordinating right up to departure time! We had our own flights to India, and were arriving from different points but met in Delhi. We were met at airports provided with exceptional accommodationsdriven and always supported by guides who were knowledgeable and personable. We chose to upgrade to 5 star hotels at what seemed an impossibly small difference in the price of our tour in fact we couldnt have booked the hotels alone for the price that we payed to be driven everywhere and guided, including flights to from some cities!! We had breakfast included each day and were invited to choose our travel we spent most of the time with one driver but also took trains and some smaller regional flights. (our tour: Delhi to Udaipur by plane Udaipur to Jodhpur to Pushkar to Jaipur to Agra by car. Agra to Jhansi by train then to Khajuraho by car and a flight to Varanasi. Each step of the way was supported unquestionably. I have learned a great deal from this trip; about how the travel industry works, and met other travelers along the way who did NOT have the same responses as we did. There are people who are not to be trusted and people who are but who charge exorbitantly for that privilege. Narendra and Colourful Indian Holidays are in a class apart. Without question I can recommend Narendra and his company to anyone traveling in India. He will ensure a safe beautiful inspirational and educational trip. It is my intention to recommend him to anyone planning to travel to India. We had the freedom to direct our trip in the moment. I cannot more heartily recommend someone to you.
