Overview

A Private Car and driver will pick you up in Delhi at around 3 am to begin this full-day Sunrise Agra trip.

You’ll arrive at approximately 6 am, just in time for a great view of the sunrise. Marvel at the spectacular Taj Mahal as the sun rises in the background.

Your Agra guide will meet you at the monument to show you around. Take your time to admire this majestic place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous and beautiful buildings in the world.

At 10 am, you’ll visit the nearby Red Fort, another UNESCO-listed site. Often forgotten behind the nearby Taj Mahal, the Red Fort features impressive architecture and beautiful pavilions.

By 1 pm, you’ll have some free time for lunch (not included in the tour price), and at around 2 pm you’ll head to Sikandara, home to the famous Tomb of Akbar the Great.

Afterwards, you’ll leave Agra for the drive back to Delhi, departing at approximately 3 pm and arriving around 7 pm.

“The mirage becomes a reality” This trip was perfect for me in every way. I was in Mumbai for business and really wanted to get to the Taj Mahal. No one else wanted to go so I flew up to Delhi on Spicejet, got a tiny room with shower in the premium lounge and slept until my driver Sabir came at 3. We drove for 3 hours and met the guide, Himanshu. They took excellent care. Himanshu was very knowledgable and also took great photos. The Taj Mahal is unbelievable up close; the scale, the craftsmanship, the details. The story behind this labor of love is well told by Himanshu. I visited some local shops and had a terrific breakfast. We also toured the Red Fort, which was beautiful and intriguing, too. Do this--the trip of a lifetime... One full day of your life and you won't believe it until you see it up close.

We really enjoyed the trip to the Taj Majal. It was so much easier to have a driver take us there and the guise helped us navigate the crowds. Even though we were there on time, we didn't actually see the Taj until after sunrise because they didn't admit anyone until after sunrise. The guide inside the Taj was quite knowledgeable but he kept telling us that he wasn't paid and would receive only whatever tip we gave him. We verified with the car driver that the guide was actually paid, but I guess he was hoping we didn't check it out.

A must see - perfect day with a friendly staff” The guide and the driver were very kind and didn't push me at all for anything. They answered all my questions and all our exchanges were very interesting. Driver was on time to the meeting. I had plenty of time taking pictures, spending time watching those incredible sites. I would definitively recommend it.
