Overview

A 6 Day in-depth safari tour of Nairobi and it's well-known locations for wildlife and culture. Transportation via Land Cruiser and luxury accommodation.

Your first day after lunch, depart for Hell's Gate. Hell’s Gate is home to the Cape buffalo, Burchell's zebra, spotted hyena, Masai ostrich, and jackals among others. Lammergeyers are very common here, nesting in the steep cliffs.

Begin your second day with an adventurous journey by boat on Lake Naivasha. This breathtaking location is inhabited by 'Giant common hippos' and a wide variety of water birds to the Crescent island for a fascinating experience walking among zebras, impalas, giraffes among other wild animals. Spend the rest of your evening at your accommodation takin gin your amazing surroundings!

We will travel to Lake Nakuru National Park. The scenic 188km2 Lake Nakuru game park is home to the black and white rhino, prides lions, cape buffalos, waterbucks, reticulated giraffes, hartebeests among many others. When the water levels in the lake are low, the alkaline lake is famous for the thousands of greater and lesser flamingoes.

On your fourth day, spend the afternoon at Nairobi National Museum and take in the culture and history of this amazing place. If you wish, you can also take a Masai Mara souvenir market.

Your fifth day will begin at the Giraffe centre for a thrilling experience with tallest mammals on earth. Also, get the opportunity to see the Rothschild giraffe. Here one is able to feed them with a bare hand. This is a life-time experience and perhaps the closest one can get to these gracious creatures in their natural setting.

Proceed to the Daphne Sheldrick orphanage. Here you have amazing moments interacting with young elephants and other species. This centre is a nurturing home for young elephants and other species whose mothers are not able to mother them due to death, incapacitation or sickness.
