Depart Amsterdam at 10:30 and travel to the enchanting village of Giethoorn in the north of the Netherlands for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Known as the "Venice of the Netherlands," the village is notable for its many canals and complete lack of main roads.

Return to Amsterdam centre around 19:30. Upon arrival, explore the fairy-tale like a village, where only 2,600 people live, on a 1-hour guided boat tour in English.

Experience the idyllic scenery from a unique perspective on a leisurely trip through the canals. Watch people punt the traditional flat-bottom boats over the canals as you go.

Although most transport in the village is by water, there is also now a cycling path. The 9-hour day tour allows you sufficient time for own activities at extra costs renting and steering your private ''whisper boat'', cycling along the paths or enjoying local cuisine.

    Well worth the time and money. Our guide was our guide and he was simply fabulous. Very kind, great information, and spoke multiple languages without skipping a beat. The scenery was gorgeous. My daughter and I loved the tour. I do have a few recommendations should you do this tour.
