After early morning breakfast, the group will depart for Gilgit via domestic flight at 8:00 am in the morning, it is an hour flight from Islamabad to Gilgit.
Upon arrival at Gilgit at around 9:30am, the group will then depart for Raikot bridge which is in approximate one-hour drive from Gilgit. From Raikot bridge it is one and half hour jeep track till Tatoo village from where it would be approximately two hours of trekking to Fairy Meadows. There are horses available on rent if the members wish to go by horses.
After reaching Fairy Meadows, the group will have lunch and then free time for sightseeing and photography. The group will go to reflecting lake for photography. The magical view of Fairy Meadow is healing for the soul.
A bonfire and traditional dance with local music will be arranged for the group at night right after dinner if the group wishes they can ask for BBQ but it is not included in the package.
Fairy Meadows, named by German climbers (German Merchandise, ″fairy tale meadows″) and locally known as Joot, is a grassland near one of the base camp sites of the Nanga Parbat, located in Diamer District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
At an altitude of about 3,300 meters above the sea level, it serves as the launching point for trekkers summiting on the Rakhiot face of the Nanga Parbat. Fairy Meadows is like the bouquet of flowers set before the towering killer mountain, Nanga Parbat.
The mountain sets a backdrop for the Fairy Meadows, making it an appealing and exciting destination for tourists. Fairy Meadows are where the legends of Nanga Parbat are kept alive. Over Night stay at Camp/Huts
After breakfast, the group will depart for Raikot bridge which will take an approximate 03 hours and then will leave for Rama Valley.
Situated in Astoria in Gilgit-Baltistan, Rama Valley is considered as one of the most beautiful valleys in Pakistan. Featuring flowing green meadows, striking trees and blooms, a pristine lake, mountain vistas and a tranquil ambiance, you will find Rama Meadows to be a picture-perfect destination. It is about 3300 meters (10800 feet) above sea level and thus is snow covered for 7–8 months of the year.
In summer, it becomes lush green; conditions favoured by local shepherds. From here one can trek to the east side of the Nanga Parbat (also known as the Killer Mountain), the world's 9th highest mountain.
From Raikot bridge it’s another two hours’ drive to reach Astore Bazar. Astore is a small city and the central location of Astore district. A road from the bazaar takes you to Rama village in an average of twenty minutes time, and right after this village is a beautiful and serene plain called Rama Meadow.
It is 11 kilometers from Astore and accessible by jeep. Women working in potato fields, happy children, and a scented atmosphere are the characteristics that define what we call, Rama village. From Rama Meadow, a jeep road turns to Rama Lake. You may miss the lake at first sight, but it is a fun ride up till here with Nanga Parbat in front and the forests alongside creating a strange sensation.
There will be lunch and enough time for sightseeing, photography and nature walk.
Yet another mesmerizing destination is waiting for you. The group will have early morning breakfast and will depart for Deosai Plains which is located on the boundary of the Karakoram and the western Himalayas, and at no point, it is less than 4000 meters above sea level. It remains covered with snow for 8 months.
The rest of the year, it hosts a range of beautiful flowers of all hues and colours, but not a single tree is found in this plateau spread over 3000 sq. km.
Deosai has a deafening silence, a silence spanning over centuries. The silence is so deep that one can hear his own heartbeat, unless a marmot’s whistle fills the valley, clouds so low that one can almost touch them, Himalayan Golden eagles flying between the clouds, and a strange fragrance in the atmosphere which probably is a mixture of brown bears, red foxes, white tigers, and naughty marmots.
The group will first come to Astore Bazar and then move forward for Deosai plain. It is an approximately four hours’ drive but with full of excitement and thrill through gorgeous valleys.
After spending 3-4 hours at Deosai, the group will depart for Rama Meadow for dinner and overnight stay. Camping.
After breakfast, the group will depart for Hunza valley. On the way, there will be a stopover at Rakaposhi view point for photography and sightseeing.
After reaching Hunza, the group will visit Baltit and Altit fort, then the Karimabad Market. After lunch, the group will depart for Duikar (Eagle nest) for sunset views. Eagle nest gives you a spectacular view of Hunza and its surrounded snow filled mountains.
After sunset view and photography, the group will return back to Karimabad fora night stay at a hotel. HUNZA VALLEY “often referred to as the Heaven on Earth” Known as heaven on earth, the Hunza valley is a mountainous valley in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of Pakistan.
Hunza is situated in the extreme northern part of Pakistan and it borders with China and Afghanistan. People of the area speak local languages such as Burushaski, Wakhi, and Shina, however, the native of the valley can speak English very well.
The valley is divided into three parts called as lower, central and upper Hunza. The upper valley stretching to china border is also called as Gojal valley. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Early morning breakfast and departure for Nagar valley. Hopper is the main village of Nagar valley and is at a one-hour drive from Karimabad Hunza. The Hopar Valley is a scenic portion of the Nagar Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is about 10 km away from Nagar Khas, the principal city of the Nagar Valley. Hopar Valley is home of the Spantik and Hopar (Hopper) glaciers.
The group will get to the viewpoints of hopper glacier and golden peak. After spending some time at hopar, the group will then depart for Gojal valley yet another gorgeous place which offers a view of fascinating peaks, mountains, glaciers, lakes and river.
After one and half hour drive, the group will reach Attabad lake for boating, sightseeing and photography. Attabad lake was formed due to a landslide on which blocked the river at Attabad village and formed a lake. After lunch at the hotel at Attabad lake, the group will move toward Passu village passing through gorgeous villages of Gulmit, Ghulkin and then Hussaini.
On the way, there will be stop over at Gulmit, Ghulkin glacier point and Hussaini suspension bridge for photography and sightseeing.
In the later afternoon, the group will reach Passu village where the Passu cones standing tall mountains welcome you and the Batura glacier viewpoint.
Khunjerab pass is at an approximate distance of 65km and two and a half hours’ drive from Passu village. After breakfast, the group will depart for Khunjerab pass again passing through small beautiful villages on the Karakoram highway.
The villages the group will pass through are Khyber, Ghalapan, Moorkhun, Gircha and Sost town. The group will stop over at Khunjerab pass where they will have the opportunity to see ibex. Viewing the ibex is not 100 per cent sure but there is a good chance of seeing them.
After the national park, the group will then go to Khunjerab top/ China border. Khunjerab Pass is also part of the Khunjerab National Park, one of the highest altitude parks in the world, that provides the habitat for a number of endangered and threatened species like the Snow leopard, Marco Polo sheep, and Himalayan ibex. The Khunjerab Pass is the highest paved international border crossing in the world and the highest point on the Karakoram Highway.
The pass is 42 km (26 mi) from the National Park station and checkpoint in Dih, 75 km (47 mi) from the customs and immigration post in Sost, 270 km (170 mi) from Gilgit, and 870 km (540 mi) from Islamabad. The group will then drive to Naltar valley for the overnight stay.
Naltar is 40 km (25 mi) from Gilgit and can be reached by jeeps. Naltar is a forested region known for its dramatic mountain scenery.
This valley is famous for its forests, greenery and lakes. It is also well known for its Ski resort. Due to its serene beauty, colorful water Naltar lakes are famous in the world. The valley is covered by snow-capped peaks and pine trees surrounded by lush greenery making it appealing for visitors.
There are three lakes at Naltar which are also called seven colors lake due to its seven colors. It is a perfect place to unplug and connect with nature. After breakfast the group will go to visit the Ski point and then will go to visit the three seven color breathtaking lakes known for its crystal clear and seven colors.
After lunch the group will go to see snow leopard which is one of the most instinct species left very few in the world, but you will have the opportunity to see one at Naltar valley.
The group will have time for sightseeing and photography. In the late afternoon the group will depart for Gilgit city for overnight stay.
Gilgit- Islamabad (the flight from Gilgit to Islamabad is subject to weather, in case of flight cancellation for any reason the group will depart for Islamabad by coaster).
Early morning breakfast and departure to Gilgit airport for domestic flight from Gilgit to Islamabad. The flight timing is 8:00am and reaches Islamabad around 9am. Airport the group will go for Islamabad city tour.
The group will visit Faisal mosque, Pakistan monument, Daman-e-Koh and then Monal Pir Sohawa. If time allowed the group will have a visit to some major markets in Islamabad including Centaurus Mall and a Supermarket in Islamabad. Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan is the biggest mosque of South Asia and the sixth largest mosque in the world with covered area of 5000 square meter (54,000 square feet), and room for containing as many as 300,000 worshipers in its main prayer hall, porticoes, courtyard and adjoining grounds.
It is considered as the National Mosque of Pakistan. Shah Faisal Mosque was remained the biggest mosque in the world from 1986 to 1993 when taken over in size by the completion of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. Pir Sohawa is a rapidly developing tourist resort located 17 kilometres (11 mi) from Islamabad on top of Margalla Hills. It has a 3000 plus ft elevation and located in Monal village which is geographically part of Haripur District.
