Auschwitz-Birkenau is a museum and memorial dedicated to over 1.5 million of victims murdered by the Nazis during World War II, as well as a symbol of the Holocaust – one of the greatest crimes against humanity in the world history.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine includes an over 700-years-old underground city, a maze of corridors, chambers, salt monuments and natural wonders, such as underground lakes.

Our tour will allow you to learn about the horrifying history of the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp and discover the amazing world of the Wieliczka Salt Mine in just one day.

Know Before You Go

  • • This tour is not recommended for children aged 13 and under
    • Baby carriages and luggage larger then 30 x 20 x 10cm are not permitted inside
    • Please bring your own child seat or child sling when traveling with a baby/children
    • The elevator is used only to get to the surface from the bottom of the mine.
    • Bring warm clothing, as the temperature underground ranges between 14 and 16C
    • There are 800 steps to climb, and 350 of these are at the beginning, taking you down into the mine. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes
    • Smoking and the use of open fire in the mine is strictly forbidden
    • The tour is not recommended for people with a disability due to a gravel surface and many buildings with no ramps or lifts. If so, people with a disability must be accompanied
    • Student tickets require valid student ID and be no older than 25 years old. Customers over 25 years old need to purchase adult ticket.
