Meeting Point

Know Before You Go

• The elevator is used only to get to the surface from the bottom of the mine.
• Bring warm clothing, as the temperature underground ranges between 14 and 16C
• There are 800 steps to climb, and 350 of these are at the beginning, taking you down into the mine. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes
• Smoking and the use of open fire in the mine is strictly forbidden
• No animals are allowed in the mine. The mine does not offer any animal shelters of its own for your pets
• Baby carriages and luggage larger than 30 x 20 x 10 cm are not permitted inside the museum - please leave them at your hotel
• A wide range of comfortable vehicles are at your disposal, depending on the size of your group
• Student tickets require valid student ID and be no older than 25 years old. Customers over 25 years old need to purchase adult ticket

IMPORTANT: For all the Wieliczka Tours to date 31.12.2019 the meeting point is at 64 Grodzka Street, for tours in 2020 starting on the 2nd of January the meeting point is at 14 Straszewskiego Street.

Our guide was superb, we have a lot lof respect for him because he made our tour great! We did not have any problem, the tour was just safe. Our guide had very good knowledge of thtat place and he explained us very well. Thanks.

She was the tour guide for my family and I. She was amazing and gave a very interesting and detailed description of the sights. The city is beautiful and there is no one better than my guide.
