Coasteering in Caloura

Most of our excursions take place in Caloura (central-south part of the island of São Miguel, 20-minute drive away from the city of Ponta Delgada).
However, if weather conditions on the south coast are not the most favourable, the tour will take place in Ribeirinha (central-northern part of the island, a 30-minute drive away from Ponta Delgada).
In the meantime, when we arrive at the respective location, we will proceed with the equipment distribution and a quick safety briefing. On average, the tour lasts around 3 hours total, with the possibility of exploring a few caves and practice a bit of snorkelling.

Pick-up serviceThe Pick-up time is usually between 08:00 and 08:30 AM at your accommodation. When the activity is over, we will leave you in the same place we picked you up.
Easy CancellationCancellations required in more than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the activity: full refund of the booking value. Refunds may take up to 30 days (from the date of the cancellation) to reach you. Cancellations required in less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the activity or no attendance: total loss of the booking value. Fun Activities Azores Adventure reserves the right to make cancellations / reschedules based on 1. Unexpected weather conditions or other reasons considered relevant for the safety of their customers and staff. 2. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum required to start the excursion. In both cases, customers will be able to reschedule the excursion or receive a full refund. 3. If the participants are not eligible for the activity, regarding the minimum requirements or inappropriate conduct/behaviour. In this case, there will be no refund.

Cut-off Time Available to be booked until 2 days before the tour starts. We reserve the option to confirm the tour or not due to availability.

Pickup and Drop-off
If you don’t require Pick-up, consider the meeting point at Porto de Pescas da Caloura around 08:50 AM.
Know Before You Go
- You should contact us:
- If you plan to book an excursion for a group with more than 8 people;
- If you are interested in trying different activities / places, besides the ones we already offer (we can provide other options);
- If you can’t find the ideal booking option or date to fit your plans (we can try to make it possible).
- Please bring your bathing suit and towels with you as we cannot provide.
