Santarém, inhabited since prehistoric times, is where the Church of Grace, where the famous navigator Pedro Álvares Cabral is buried, will visit the famous garden of the doors of the Sun and the beautiful tiles of the municipal market.
We then proceed to the Castle of Almourol, an example of medieval military architecture, implanted in the middle of the Tagus River. We will then stop in the town of Tomar, where the impressive Templars Castle and the Order of Christ Convent, originally the fortress of the Templar order in the sec. 12. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our next stop is in the Sierra de Mira de Aire, where we will visit one of the most intense and surprising caves in the country. With an area of 10,000 square meters, Mira de Aire is an amazing visit to this natural park. Return to Lisbon.
