I went to Soweto not knowing exactly what to expect and I was very happy I went there. Our guide explained very well what happened during the Apartheid. Visiting the Museum is a plus as it is very didactic

It is a touching experience to visit Soweto, having the chance to speak with Jack, the young resident that shows you around and visiting the community kindergarten.
You should not leave Johannesburg without visiting the Apartheid Museum and the Hector Pieterson Museum, open mind experience. Highly recommended

This tour was a great way to learn about apartheid and the history of Soweto. Our guide, Stanley, was a wealth of information and very personable and interesting. The tour provided a lot of insight on apartheid, the events leading up to the Soweto uprising, and Soweto today. The two museums we visited, the Hector Pieterson Museum in Soweto, about the 1976 uprising, and the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, were both great, eye-opening experiences as well.

Had a great day on this tour. Our guides were very knowledgeable and really engaged with everyone in the group. Being a solo traveler, this was a fantastic way to get out and see parts of Johannesburg and learn about its history without being on my own.

This was an amazing experience guided by an amazing tour guide. The tour guide is such a great story teller and immerses you in history while linking everything to the present. You get to see the real, unadulterated South Africa in all its bareness. This is a must see tour. We loved how the trip is arranged and the pick and drop makes everything that much easier!

I would recommend this day tour to everyone! We spent only one day in Johannesburg and we are really happy to have decided to take part in this guided day tour. Our guide was really informative and more than happy to answer any questions. We managed to see the most important parts of the city and hear about important facts of the south african history in only one day. Lunch was delicious. Do not hesitate to book this tour.
