Barcelona Private Wine Tapas and Wineries Art Experience

My husband and I are always looking for new and fun adventures. When we found out about this company and the array of experiences they offer, we couldn't wait to book a tour with them. Mariana treated us wonderfully! The great relationship between Mariana and the cellars is definitely noticeable. And that in itself, shows in their service. It was a phenomenal experience, and one that we hope to repeat some day! Sharing it this time, with family and friends.

This tour was fantastic and our tour experts Beatriz and Raaaaaaaul - just trying to emphasise the rolling of the tongue with Raul's name ;-). These guys were bubbley and funny and it was a pleasure meeting them. The tour and winery was great and not to mention the tapas that accompanied each type of wine we tasted. The food was plentiful and the taste amazing. It was exceptional and the winery was a hidden gem away from the busy city overlooking the Mediterranean sea! What a day! Thank you again guys you definitely made our day!

First of all, she picked up the phone on a Sunday night and after a few phone calls to our destinations, she confirmed we would be picked up the very next morning. She was incredibly knowledgable - not just about Barcelona and the wine country but she has travelled and lived abroad extensively so she was great to talk to. For lunch she took us to a very small, local restaurant that we never would have found on our own and it was superb.

Fantastic, we got it right! As a special family day out, we wanted to visit and wine taste in some of Winenium´s exclusive wine cellars. We got it right. We were taken to 2 very different and still family run wine cellars in the Penedes wine area. We were shown the winery areas and tasted cava and organic wines (my little one had grape juice). We had lunch at a place I would have never located myself. It was a great family trip which we recommend to families of all ages.

My wife and I are based in Barcelona and had friends visiting. We wanted to take them to some of the best vineyards around Barcelona and contacted this company to help us with this. We booked a trip to the Priorat wine region and visited two fabulous wine cellars, with exquisite red wines and then had a special Catalan lunch. It was a GREAT day out! We cannot recommend enough and will book again when other friends come and visit.

We were a group of friends looking for a special birthday celebration in the Barcelona area. We contacted with this company and received an immediate reply. We were picked up at our hotel, visited 2 stunning and very different wine cellars. And then the amazing Catalan lunch in a family run restaurant where we were treated like Royalty. Thanks Beatriz! We will definitely come back for more!

We spent the day with Mariana visiting two great wineries, a beautiful tour of the countryside, and a fabulous lunch at a small, and very local restaurant. Mariana's guidance and local knowledge made it one of the best and most memorable days during our two-week visit to Barcelona.

This review is 4 months late - sorry Mariana! Mariana, our host, was absolutely great! Because we were traveling with our 12 year old son, we couldn't participate in a lengthy tour. Mariana was responsive and timely. She was able to provide us with a few options and worked around our schedule. She is fun, upbeat, and engaging, not only to us, but also to our son. She picked us up promptly in front of our hotel in a nice, clean, and comfortable tour van. We visited a Cava and an organic wine cellar. The highlight of our trip was at the wine cellar. The tour guide was very informative and passionate about the history of the winery. He was a great story teller. Our son listened to every word. Our visit coincided with harvest time, and we were able to sample the grapes off the vines. At the conclusion of the tour, we sampled 3 wines along with a wonderful spread of hors d'oeuvres. Thank you Mariana for introducing us to Barcelona's beautiful wine region. We hope to come back again one day. (Note: Both establishments offered apple cider to our son and he felt very involved and he loved the experience.)

We had a fanstastic day with Mariana at Alta Alella. Mariana handled everything just perfect from the pickup at the hotel till we arrived back in Barcelona at the restaurant she recommended, Many laughs and very educational. I´m sure we will be back sometime.
