Overview

The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning and take you for an interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge.

Visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses.

Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and use them as a source of inspiration.

This is also a wonderful town to shop for lanterns, soft silk, raw silk, or get your clothes tailored within a day.

Late afternoon is cycling with our guide, 4km from the centre of the ancient town to Cua Dai, the “Big Beach”, to relax and enjoy the sunset or swimming.

It's been so enjoyable for me to be in Hoi An. It's a great place to discover. The local people there are friendly they always have a smile on their faces. The Ancient Town is so peaceful. First of all, I had many places to visit. The buses are very cheap and convenient, and it took only two hours and a half to get there. You can spend as much time in Da Nang as long as you want because it is a beautiful city. Afterwards, go straight to Hoi An the Ancient Town. The Town is so exciting and impressive. There was so much to see and discover. You can see the culture of this place that is so unique through the eye of the people. Moreover, it's gorgeous at night because of all the lanterns that glow over the area.

I have just returned from a great holiday in Vietnam. My Hoi An tour was awesome! A nice charming small town, located on the north of bank of the Thu Bon River, Central Vietnam. There is a unique characteristic of Hoi An that is influenced by various cultures like the French, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese. Highly recommended to stop by the nice coffee shop along Thu Bon river, called Tam Tam cafe which serves Vietnamese coffee and tasty cakes. The local restaurant called Bale Well is also recommended for visitors for amazing food. It's a bit touristic with lots of European tourists, the peaceful atmosphere gives visitors a chance to relax and unwind. We were lucky to experience the festival they have every Fullmoon night, where little boats are floated along the Thu Bon river and all shops turn off the power and lighting is only candles or lanterns from 7 pm till midnight. Absolutely Beautiful! Wish we had spent more time there!
