Humayun’s Tomb

1 Thought to have inspired the Taj Mahal, Human’s tomb is a very well proportioned building that looks like it is floating above symmetrical gardens. It was built by the Mughal Emperor in the mid 16th century. The facade with rows of arches is inlaid with bands of white marble and red sandstone. There are other tombs to be found in the gardens that were built for the emperor's favourite barber. A private tour is a must here.

Jama Masjid
