Travel From Delhi Taj Mahal and Agra fort Private Tour by India’s fastest train. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station to board the super fast AC train to Agra (Gatimaan Express).

The train Gatimaan Express departs Hazrat Nizamuddin Station, Delhi. You’ll enjoy Tea & Breakfast onboard, as well as browse away on the train’s high-speed wifi. 
 
Once you arrive in Agra, an English speaking guide will meet you on the platform. You’ll then be driven to tour the magnificent Taj Mahal. You’ll have the chance to take a Tuk Tuk or Battery bus to explore the area.
 
Afterwards, you’ll be taken to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre to tour the red sandstone Agra Fort and it’s museum. Following the tour of the fort, you’ll enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.

10:00 Tour the Taj Mahal

Visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. According to legend, Emperor Shahjahan was so grief-stricken at the death of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, that he decided to erect a memorial to her which would be unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. With a huge labor force of 20,000 people, it took 22 long years to complete this masterpiece.

12:00 Visit Agra Fort

Visit Agra Fort, a vast museum of interesting buildings on the UNESCO World Heritage site. Each successive Mughal Emperor right up to Aurangzeb contributed to the growth of the fort. Construction of the Agra Fort started in 1565 and was completed in 1573.

Transfer to Restaurant for lunch.

14:30 Visit Baby Taj

You will continue to the Baby taj Tomb, a Mughal mausoleum. The Baby Taj was the title given to Mirza Ghiyath Beg, father of Nur Jahan. He held the post of Lord of Treasure of the Empire and later rose to the dignity of Wazir under Jahangir. Nur Jahan completed the construction of the building of the Tomb of her father in 1628 AD, nearly 7 years after his death.

15:30 Explore the Bazaar

After Lunch, explore the Bazaar of Agra full of a rich heritage of handicrafts or explore freely at your own leisure. One can buy the most famous marble handicrafts / authentic Indian sweets or after a day-long hectic tour, enjoy a relaxing body massage. (Your own personal expense)

17:00 Transfer to the Railway Station

Transfer to Railway Station to board your high speed train to back to Delhi.

Our guide was a wonderful tour guide. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! He is very accommodating and was a very fun tour guide. Our driver was on time and made sure we had a chance to stop for bathroom and drinks. He was very nice and reliable.

Shaan was an absolutely excellent tour guide for the city of Agra. He did an amazing job showing me the city, explaining the history and most importantly taking amazing pictures for me at each of the historical sites. Hands down one of the best tours I have been on in my travels. I would highly recommend booking your tour of Agra and the Taj Majal through this company. Ask for shaan if you need great instagram worthy content and he WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! He has a passion for photography and you can tell he takes his job very seriously and knows all the great spots for the best possible pictures. No hesitations when booking with this company.
